At the Magic Kingdom this morning, guests were treated to a little extra magic than we’re used to for their early entry experience.
For the first time in a long time, Disney is testing free roaming characters for early entry hotel guests throughout the park! This was promised for their kids’ limited-time magic event.
In addition to the roaming charcters, there is new park music for early entry guests as well. Disney Channel music was heard this morning in Fantasyland. Songs from Hannah Montana, Camp Rock, and the like. This is no April Fools joke folks, this actually happened this morning.
On March 26th, we first heard that roaming characters would be available to resort guests in the mornings. This is part of a limited-time event in the parks, which is a part of Walt Disney World’s “Cool Kids Summer” event, which begins on May 27th, 2025. It’s likely just a test, and we’ll see if it’s discontinued before the event officially starts.
