Analyzing The Construction Photos of Rivers of America & Tom Sawyer Island
A lot can be unpacked from these photos across the entire area of the park. Here are our thoughts:

One of the first things you may notice is the lack of the Liberty Belle in the former Rivers of America. The riverboat was removed on day one after the closure (7/7/2025). It is suspected to be in dry dock at this time.

Construction walls are starting to go up across the entire site on the edge of Liberty Square, and Frontierland as well (not pictured in this update). It’s unknown where the walls will be added, and if the riverwalk in Frontierland will be closed off in the near future.
Initially, just a door was installed by the Liberty Belle exit ramp with no other construction walls on 7/7/2025. As a result, this caused a large uproar on social media of the necessity of this door for Piston Peak construction. It mostly seemed like people believed that the door was the only walls to go there.

Now as of 7/10/2025, there are walls across that entire area around this door.
