Extinction is upon us, and Disney has spared no expense. Chester & Hester’s DinoRama is coming down, and we can already see TriceraTop Spin’s teardown has begun.

In addition signs can also be seen coming down over by Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures. For now, the areas marquee sign remains. Dino-Sue also remains, but we’re sure it’s only a matter of time.

Since last week, construction walls have replaced the planters in locations where the land was more visible. It will make it more difficult to get full coverage of the demolition of the land.

Chester & Hester’s Dino Rama and the rest of Dinoland USA are beginning a phased closure for Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s latest land, Pueblo Esperanza, which is planned to be opened by 2027.

In the land, there will be a new Character Carousel, along with a new attraction inspired by “Encanto”. In addition, Dinosaur will be closing next year to become similar to Indiana Jones: Temple of the Forbidden Eye at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Disney has stated the attraction will be a different look and storyline than its West Coast counterpart.

No announcement has been made still on Dinosaurs’ actual closing date (we do know it won’t close this year) as well as the The Boneyard (kids’ play area), Trilo-Bites (outdoor food stand), and Restaurantosaurus (restaurant).
