Chester & Hesters DinoRama has been no more at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as construction continues on the new Pueblo Esperanza area. Today we will take a look at construction progress in the area, which is almost unrecognizable from our last update 2 months ago.

Tree Berm Removed From Outskirts of Dinoland, USA
One of the first things you notice from walking around the area now is the lack of the trees that used to be located behind the Primeval Whirl roller coaster. These trees remained even after the ride closed in 2020.

These photos were taken over a month ago by Bioreconstruct on X. Today, we saw construction crews on site, digging holes in the old Chester & Hesters Dino Rama area.
Tropical Americas Concept Art Added to Construction Walls
Another addition since last time is the advent of concept art on the construction walls. Concept art can be seen where the guests are walking into the area to the left of Dinosaur, which is still open for the time being. Butterflies adorn the walls as well.

All of the PPG paints for our pixie dust signs are different now too. The “change is good” sign everyone scoffed at is no more.

Cementasaurus And All TriceraTop Spin Remains Removed
Last time, only the arcade games in the area were all removed, and half of the TriceraTop Spin queue cover was gone as well. At this point, nothing remains of any of those. A large pile of rubles was all that remained of Cementasaurus in Dinoland USA.
Chester & Hester’s Dino Treasures is still intact, and based on concept images, it’s expected to stay for the foreseeable future even when the new Tropical America’s land opens under a different name.
