Sea World San Antonio Expansion Plan Announced
Just announced today, United Parks & Resorts is expanding, adding more children focused attractions to their Sea World San Antonio Park in 2025.

All New Roller Coaster for 2025: Beach Rescue Racer
The biggest of the announcements we heard about the Texas Park is Beach Rescue Racer. This is an all new kiddie roller coaster that SeaWorld. SeaWorld said in their announcement “Race to the aid of stranded beach creatures in this rescue jeep coaster as you race down 1,300 ft. of tracks to bring animals to safety!”
SeaWorld’s All New Train Ride For 2025: Ocean Quest Express
One of the first new attractions in SeaWorld Rescue Jr that you will find is a train ride. Sea World said in their announcement “It’s all aboard for everyone on Ocean Quest Express, an interactive and educational train ride you won’t want to miss! This immersive experience invites riders to join a simulated mission to locate and save sea creatures in distress, as the train chugs along a scenic route.”
Sea World’s All New Ride For 2025: Seabird Swing
Another new attraction in the SeaWorld Rescue Jr. area is Seabird Swing – a new children’s swing ride! SeaWorld said in their announcement “Get ready to feel the wind in your hair and the rush of adventure on Seabird Swing– the ultimate experience for little heroes who dream of soaring in the sky and saving birds! Buckle up as you take to the skies and soar above the sea on this swing like a real-life rescue hero!”
SeaWorld’s All New Kiddie Attraction: Sea Splash
Located in this new Rescue Jr section of Sea World San Antonio is Sea Splash: a new kiddie splash pad! “Make waves in Sea Splash with playful splash pads where little rescuers can cool off after a hard day of saving animals.”
Our Thoughts on SeaWorld San Antonio’s 2025 Additions
Here at RideRover, we are very excited to see how this new area of the park turns out! This park suffers from a limited amount of attraction options to begin with. This should help grow thier lineup of not only coasters but childrens rides as well.
Earlier this year, Six Flags Fiesta Texas announced that they were adding 3 new attractions to their DC Universe section of the park. While the new attractions at Fiesta Texas are taking a more thrilling twist, that park also has more attractions than Sea World San Antonio. This extra investment from United Parks to add a new kids area has a good chance of paying off!
SeaWorld has yet to comment what manufacture these new rides are coming from and an opening date for the new land. Stay tuned for more updates on RideRover!
