Walls continue to go up at the Magic Kingdom for the new Piston Peak Construction Area in Frontierland. We got some areal photos early this afternoon from bioreconstruct on X .

Unpacking the areal photos of Rivers of America & Tom Sawyer Island

In the areal photo above, you can see there are new construction walls also on the bridge on the opposite side of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It is still unclear if they plan to put construction walls in place along the riverwalk for Piston Peak Construction in the Magic Kingdom.

The new land clearing outside the berm is very expansive. New blueprints show they plan to use the space as a imagineering and construction home base of sorts with over 750 parking spaces, and a likely large temporary building for facilities.

In the last post on Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island, we stated that the Liberty Belle was likely at dry dock, along with the Tom Sawyer Island Rafts. Turns out this is actually not the case. They are all stationed at the Magic Kingdom wet dock. Recent rumors suggest that the Liberty Belle may be scrapped completely.

This photo above is likely one of the last photos you will see of the Tom Sawyer Island and Rivers of America in tact together. Please stay tunned to RideRover for new updates!
